Back by popular demand, local Democratic-Nonpartisan League candidates from District 12 are hosting the drive by “Dinner in the Park” event on Thursday, July 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. at McElroy Park.
Takeout dinners will be delivered to vehicles passing by the Sertoma Shelter in the park for just $12 a dinner or freewill offering. The meal includes scalloped potatoes with ham, baked beans, coleslaw, cheesecake bites and bottled water.
