Authors Keith Norman and Todd Harburn each have a new books out on the Indian War Period.
Todd Harburn will present information on the research he did into the life of Dr. DeWolf. DeWolf was a surgeon at Fort Seward during the early 1870s and later was with the 7th Cavalry. He died at the Little BigHorn.
Harburn has organized DeWolf’s letters and journals and compiled a biography of the frontier surgeon.
Keith Norman will present information on the 133 men who were awarded the Medal of Honor during the Indian Wars of the Northern Plains.
The book includes information on the campaigns and battles the men fought, the actions they performed earning them the nation’s highest military honor, and some information on their life before and after the military.
Both authors will be available to talk about their work and sign copies of their books.
