NDSU Extension Service High Tunnel Conference Set for March 24-25, 2017

The NDSU Extension Service High Tunnel Conference is scheduled for March 24th and 25th, 2017 on the campus of North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND.
Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned veteran of high tunnel production, this regional two-day conference will provide you with cutting-edge information to improve your operation.
This conference, which begins on the afternoon of March 24th, will feature Kathy Demchak from Pennsylvania State University and regional favorite, Terry Nennich, retired Extension Educator from the University of Minnesota. Kathy Demchak will share her research evaluating high tunnel strawberry and bramble production. Terry Nennich will focus on vegetable production in the northern United States. Non-traditional crops such as cut flowers will also be discussed by NDSU researchers. Interactive demonstrations such as installing irrigation, scouting for pests, and tomato grafting will be part of the conference.
