Stuff the Civic

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is ‘What are you doing got others?'” -Martin Luther King Jr.
Come and join us as we embark on the biggest food drive Jamestown has ever seen!
As the holiday season approaches, we must consider how we can give back to the ones that need our help. That is why, on December 20th, 2019 from noon to 6 p.m. the Jamestown High School Student Council will be hosting a food drive that will span the entire community. However, the event does not start on the 20th, it starts now. Of course, we can’t do it alone! We have enlisted several schools, organizations, and businesses to help by holding a series of mini food drives. However, more importantly, we are asking for your help!
Come join us on the 20th as students from all across town, big and small, collect the donations made throughout the month. All goods will be brought down to the Civic Center. We invite you to volunteer, or bring as many non-perishable items that you can carry! As items roll in, students will be at the civic center collecting items and forming an image of the Jamestown schools’ mascot: a BlueJay. All donations collected will be distributed to food pantries throughout Jamestown. Help us reach our goal of 10,000 pounds!
