The Jamestown Knights of Columbus Council #1883 is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive on the weekend of Nov. 17-19.
They are going to match up to $10,000 in donations! You can bring your monetary or non-perishable food donation to the St. James Basilica parking lot on Friday, Nov. 17 from 3-6 pm and Saturday, Nov. 18 from 9 am-2 pm. The food drive will conclude on Sunday, Nov. 19 at Club 1883 with a chili cook-off and bingo event. The cook-off will be from 11:30 am-12:30 pm and is a free will offering for all those who want to taste the various chili entries. Bingo will go from about 12:30 pm-2:30 pm. There will be 10 rounds of bingo where you will be playing for $50 gift cards to Hugos, Cashwise, or Club 1883, followed by a final 50/50 game of blackout bingo.
There will also be secondary prizes as well as a candy bouquet raffle between each round of bingo. The St. James Basilica Youth Group will be providing concessions at the event as well. Please mark your calendars to enjoy this fun, family event and help support our local food pantries!
