Traditional marketing is a rather broad category that incorporates many forms of advertising and marketing. It’s the most recognizable types of marketing, encompassing the advertisements that we see and hear every day.
Most traditional marketing strategies fall under one of these categories: print advertisement, newsletters and radio spots. Many businesses are still relying on traditional marketing tactics to drive their businesses. There’s nothing wrong with doing so.
In fact, the second highest is newspaper advertising, at just 15 percent. Radio advertising generated more than $17 billion in ad revenue during 2011. Print advertising generates nearly $30 billion in ad revenue every year.
Our presenter are Patrick R. Pfeiffer, KSJB-Mix 93.3 VP/GM and Curt Sayler, KSJB-Mix 93.3 Senior Account Executive.
Patrick and Curt will walk you through the steps for developing a traditional marketing plan, according to the form of advertising used and the type of your business and provide you with the knowledge and skills required to effectively use traditional marketing techniques – from print to broadcast.
Also, how to use traditional marketing to create brand awareness by giving brands greater exposure to a large audience with different demographics and develop trust with your audience and interact with consumers on a more personal level.
