JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Washington Elementary PTO is hosting the annual knoephla soup & chili drive through fundraiser Oct. 28th from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
The PTO is raising money to build a new playground for all the grades K-5 on the north playground. While all of the playground equipment is quite old, the wooden playground structure is rotting and has been determined unsafe for the children to use.
That leaves the school with one small structure for 110 students.
The PTO is working to raise funds to remove and replace the remaining structure with one that will accommodate all of our students, is safe, full of fun for all users, and will meet the requirements for the school district.
Pints are available for purchase for $8 per pint. Pre-Sale tickets are available in advance by purchasing them from students at Washington Elementary, a member of the PTO, or from the school office.
Pre-Sale is available until Oct. 19th, 2022.
Knoephla soup is being provided by J&L Concessions. Chili is being provided by The 1883 Club.
